I have been working with Inkitt for a couple months now, and they have been sending me some pretty great books to read and review. They have contacted me about an opportunity for all of you. If you're a writer and want the chance to win a publishing deal, then this contest is for you! Inkitt is hosting a free writing contest and the winner will have their work published by Inkitt!

Here is what you should know:

Rules & Stuff

  • Contest ends on March 31st (11:59pm PST)
  • No entry fee
  • All genres except fan fiction accepted
  • Author must own all rights
  • Multiple entries are allowed
  • Novels must be in English
  • You retain all rights to your stories while posted on Inkitt
  • Previously or currently self-published books are accepted
  • The winner is going to be determined by Inkitt based on reader engagement
  • Required word counts per genre:
  • Erotica - 20,000
  • Romance - 40,000
  • Mystery - 60,000
  • Thriller - 60,000
  • Horror - 60,000
  • Sci-Fi - 80,000
  • Fantasy - 80,000
  • YA - 40,000

  • If you win, you must be willing to extend your manuscript to the mandatory word count if your work is below our requirements
