Goodreads synopsis:

At twenty-two years old, Sydney is enjoying a great life: She’s in college, working a steady job, in love with her wonderful boyfriend, Hunter, and rooming with her best friend, Tori. But everything changes when she discovers that Hunter is cheating on her—and she’s forced to decide what her next move should be.

Soon, Sydney finds herself captivated by her mysterious and attractive neighbor, Ridge. She can't take her eyes off him or stop listening to the passionate way he plays his guitar every evening out on his balcony. And there’s something about Sydney that Ridge can’t ignore, either. They soon find themselves needing each other in more ways than one.

Hey guys!

As I had said in my #CRAMATHON Wrap-Up & Mini Reviews post, I went into Maybe Someday blindly. All I knew was that everybody loves her books and are raved about on the book blogging and vlogging community. Everybody absolutely loves her books.

I really got into this book within the first 20 pages. I really liked the characters, and they developed a lot by the end of the story. I really liked Ridge's character. I hadn't really read anything like what his character has to go through. I thought he was a really loyal character, and he was a really dependable and hard working guy. I also really liked Sydney's character. I liked her morals and I really liked how she and Ridge communicated. The way they communicate is really fun and easy going and every time I read their texting dialogue I literally felt all of the emotions on the spectrum of emotions. I loved how Ridge and Sydney made music, and at first I thought it was kind of interesting the way that Ridge made music. It's really...sweet.  I also really loved the character of Maggie. She's so cute! I loved how independent and sassy she was. I felt like I could click with her if I were to meet her in real life. She worked so hard in the story, and lived everyday like it was her last. I liked how Colleen wrapped every thing up at the end and didn't leave any stone un-turned to explain the relationships and such. I also really loved Warren and Bridgette, I think that they're perfect for each other and I really want to read the novella, Maybe Not which is about Warren and Bridgette meeting and getting to know each other.

Ok, so I had a couple problems with the book...no book is perfect.. hahaha... ok, I didn't like the drama towards the end. The ending was kind of iffy for me because it hit really close to home with some personal beliefs. I do not like a cheater, I find any excuse to be bull crap. Now, Ridge and Sydney are in love..yeah I can tell that they are, but if Ridge loves Maggie he'd break it off with her and live his life. He doesn't have to hurt Maggie at all. I cannot condone cheating personally, but I really liked how Colleen had her characters handle it. Maggie handled it really well, and she's probably one of the best characters I've ever read about. Ridge didn't use his head towards the head and kind of manipulated Maggie and Syd's feelings and he made me really mad at the end of Maybe Someday.

Overall, I really loved this book. It's one of the few new adult novels that I've read, but I really enjoyed it. The romance was swoon worthy, it wasn't too raunchy, the characters were really hilarious and really well thought out. Colleen Hoover sure know show to write a romance novel! Go Colleen!

My Favorite Character(s): Maggie or Sydney
My Least Favorite Character(s): Hunter & Tori

Enjoy guys!
