Goodreads synopsis:

Jacque Pierce was just an ordinary 17-year-old girl getting ready to start her senior year in high school in Coldspring, Texas. When a mysterious foreign exchange student from Romania moves in across the street, Jacque and her two best friends, Sally and Jen, don't realize the last two weeks of their summer are going to get a lot more interesting.

From the moment Jacque sets eyes on Fane she feels an instant connection, a pull like a moth to a flame. Little does she know that the flame she is drawn to is actually a Canis lupis, werewolf, and she just happens to be his mate; the other half of his soul.

The problem is Fane is not the only wolf in Coldspring, Texas.

Just as Fane and Jacque are getting to know each other, another wolf steps out to try and claim Jacque as his mate. Fane will now have to fight for the right to complete the mating bond, something that is his right by birth but is being denied him by a crazed Alpha. Will the love Fane has for Jacque be enough to give him the strength to defeat his enemy, will Jacque accept that she is Fane's mate and complete the bond between them?

Hey guys!

So, I've loved this book for a while, and I've read it before. I decided to re-read it so that I could read the second and third books in the Grey Wolves series. It had been a while since I had read the Prince Of Wolves, and because I had been younger when I had read it the first time, I didn't really read it like I would have now. I found a couple things that I found, as an older reviewer, that were a bit disappointing in the book.
The synopsis above pretty much sums up the plot of the book, and I can't do much better.

What I Didn't Like: I hated that sometimes the POVs changed mid chapter..and sometimes mid-paragraph..that was annoying. Also, sometimes the dialogue was kind of cheesy. Also, sometimes things were rushed, and that was kinda annoying. Also, Fane didn't always talk like a normal 17 year old guy, and he sounded really formal and strange.

What I Loved: The humor- oh my gosh this whole book was hilarious! Jen/Jacque/Sally they are absolutely hilarious. Jen is so perverted, Sally 7 Jacque egg her on, and together they are hilarious. I also love how supportive her friends are, they're so amazing. I also love how protective of Jacque Fane is.

I plan on reading the rest of the series if I can. I really like Quinn Loftis's writing, she's super funny and I really love her characters. If you love paranormal romance and fantasy you will love this.

My Favorite Character: Fane
My Least Favorite Character: Lucas Steele

If you love ______ you'll love The Prince Of Wolves!

  1. The Twilight series by Stephanie Meyer
  2. The Shiver Trilogy by Maggie Stiefvater
  3. The Wicked Lovely series by Melissa Marr

Enjoy guys!
