Okay, guys. You're probably aware of my passionate love for my beautiful boyfriend. He is so supportive of my nerdy book love and my obsessive love of all things Sarah J. Maas. Not only will we be going to Chicago in October to see Sarah J. Maas, Alex gave me the sweetest gift ever. He's literally the best. I love him so freaking much. Okay, without further ado, here is what my wonderful man gave me:

A SIGNED COPY OF A COURT OF THORNS AND ROSES!!!!

God has truly blessed me with this man. The book also included pictures from the signing and Alex wrote me a beautiful note that made me nearly cry. He's so wonderful.

Number of Books Read: 15/28

What wonderful books did you get recently?

Happy reading, guys!

My Favorite 2017 Reads

Hey guys!

It's that time again! This year it was actually really hard to pick a complete list of 17 books that I REALLY enjoyed. This year was just so busy and I really wasn't completely wow'd by the books I read, so I decided to just list my top favorites and leave it where it ended. This year it came out to 13 and 2 rereads.

I expect to read a couple more short books and a few more comics/mangas/graphic novels, so who knows if this list is absolute. I usually post this within the first couple weeks of January, but I'm switching it up!

Here are my top favorite reads of 2017! They aren't in any particular order...but ACOWAR is #1!!!

  1. A Court Of Wings & Ruin (A Court of Thorns & Roses #3) by Sarah J. Maas
  2. Eliza & Her Monsters by Francesca Zappia
  3. This Adventure Ends by Emma Mills
  4. Shadow & Bone by Leigh Bardugo
  5. Heir of Fire (Throne of Glass #3) by Sarah J. Maas

  10. Language of Thorns by Leigh Bardugo
  11. Runaways #1 by Rainbow Rowell & K. Anka
  12. Backstagers #1 by
  13. The Assassin's Blade (Throne of Glass) by Sarah J. Maas
Favorite Rereads:

  • A Court of Thorns & Roses (ACOTAR#1) by Sarah J. Maas
  • A Court of Mist & Fury (ACOTAR #2) by Sarah J. Maas

(Honestly, who didn't see those two coming? I never shut up about them!)

What were your favorite books you read this year? I'm pretty happy with my list. I can't wait to read more this next year. The books I have planned for the next few days are going to be great!

Happy reading!!!

April 2017 Wrap Up

Hey, guys!

If you couldn't tell, I haven't been posting many reviews at all. I'm currently in the middle of finals, so be patient with me. I'm writing this up pretty quickly Sunday (4/30) and I plan on posting this by Monday (5/1). I'm going to try to have a post about my A Court of Wings & Ruin unboxing and preorder goodies, but that will have to wait until the book actually comes in, when I get the editions (yes plural) that I want to have, and for the preorder goodies to come in. Along with that, I'll most likely have a spoiler and non-spoiler discussion and review. Stay tuned for that!

Once finals are completely over, I plan to do a big binge on Sarah J. Maas books and then get back to my review books. I'm considering it my reward for getting fantastic grades. Please be patient with me. I will have a bunch of reviews coming soon. I'm very behind, but I will get caught up!

This month I read 8 books/short stories and DNF'd 2 books. I was close to DNF'ing a bunch of books this month. I was just not satisfied with what I read. Hopefully, next month will be better since I don't have classes.
