Goodreads synopsis:
Princess Winter is admired by the Lunar people for her grace and kindness, and despite the scars that mar her face, her beauty is said to be even more breathtaking than that of her stepmother, Queen Levana.
Winter despises her stepmother and knows Levana won’t approve of her feelings for her childhood friend—the handsome palace guard, Jacin. But Winter isn’t as weak as Levana believes her to be and she’s been undermining her stepmother’s wishes for years. Together with the cyborg mechanic, Cinder, and her allies, Winter might even have the power to launch a revolution and win a war that’s been raging for far too long.
Can Cinder, Scarlet, Cress, and Winter defeat Levana and find their happily ever afters?

Hey, guys!
If you have read my review for Cress, you will most likely know of my love for this series and the characters. Meyer is such a creative and imaginative writer. I love how each book brings in a new female and male character with each installment of the series. Each POV was refreshing and learning all of their back stories was like making a new friend. It may, at first, become a bit overwhelming but after you get back into the swing of things. You will fully understand the way each character thinks and fall in love with them all.
Winter was much more different than the previous three books. The overall tone was much more serious, and the book was about 300 pages longer than Cress. The whole revolution aspect to the book was so fascinating and it made me feel all of the feels. I'm not sure if I could ever pick a favorite character because each character was so different and there were characteristics of each one of them that I loved. Cinder is so smart and she's a badass who will give everything up for the people she loved and for justice. Kai would give up anything to keep the world safe...and he's dreamy. Scarlet and Wolf are so loyal and strong and so dedicated to each other. Cress is such a sweetheart and I see myself in her. Thorne is such a smart-ass, but he's so charming and hilarious. Jacin's loyalty and courage developed quite nicely throughout the book and I just adore his character. Winter is such an interesting character as well. Her overall attitude and personality are so strange and mysterious, and seeing her grow as a character was delightful to read.
I was not ready for this series to end. I'm so excited to read all of the novellas in Stars Above...and I haven't read Fairest, so that's something to look forward too. I only have positive comments for this series. Marissa Meyer's writing is so magical and amazing. I highly recommend this series if you love fairy tale retellings, science fiction, and kick ass characters.
I don't have reviews for Cinder or Scarlet, but Cinder got 5 stars and Scarlet got 4.75 stars. If you'd like to check out my review for Cress, then I will link it in below.
